Ruthann Plata is a passionate writer and mother who believes in the magic of starting each day with a good story. Inspired by her own early mornings spent reading with her son, Ruthann created the "Good Morning" series to share the joy of reading with young children and their families. With a love for storytelling and beautiful, original watercolor illustrations, Ruthann’s books are designed to spark imagination and connection. When she's not writing, Ruthann enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new ideas, and continuing her mission to make story time a cherished part of every day.

Illustrator Claudia Isabel
Claudia Isabel is a talented Latin illustrator with a deep passion for merging art and storytelling. A graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a major in studio art and a minor in Spanish, Claudia has always been drawn to creating vibrant visuals that captivate young imaginations. Her love for working with children made illustrating children's books a natural fit. Outside of her artistic endeavors, Claudia enjoys spending time with her dogs, traveling, cooking, and has recently ventured into the world of sourdough baking. Her warm, colorful illustrations bring the "Good Morning" series to life, sparking joy in every page.

Lehuanani Kualii, was born in Hawaii and has lived in many states throughout the mainland. As a mama of two, she is very passionate about sharing the Hawaiian language in a simple and practical way for all ages to enjoy.
